The project was implemented with the financial support of the Association for Community Relations (ARC). The initiative aimed to prevent and address psychological violence among the younger generation, focusing on female students and school psychologists in five educational institutions in Cahul.
As part of the project, 20 information and support sessions were organized for 255 young women, focusing on recognizing and preventing psychological violence. These activities were complemented by intensive training for five school psychologists, accompanied by follow-up and supervision, to strengthen their capacity for effective intervention in cases of violence.
Additionally, an awareness campaign was carried out both online and offline, which included the distribution of informational materials and public actions aimed at raising community awareness about psychological violence in schools.
The project had a visible impact on both the young generation and school staff. The students gained knowledge and tools to recognize and manage situations of psychological violence, and many began to speak openly about their experiences and seek support, marking a significant shift in attitude in a context where silence was often the norm. The trained school psychologists have strengthened their skills and are already applying the methods learned in their daily work, becoming a core resource within schools, capable of providing ongoing support and contributing to the creation of a safe and protective educational environment for all students.
