The organizational support project is implemented within the framework of the “Issues Affecting Women ” program, with the financial support of the OAK Foundation, carried out in partnership with ARC – Association for Community Relations. The initiative aims to strengthen the organization’s capacity to provide specialized and accessible services to women affected by domestic violence and gender-based violence, especially in Cahul district.
Through this project, women and children survivors of violence benefit from individual psychological, social and legal counseling, adapted to their specific needs. Interventions are aimed at increasing personal safety, supporting the emotional recovery process and facilitating access to legal protection mechanisms. The project also contributes to providing direct legal assistance in cases aimed at obtaining protection orders and other legal measures aimed at ensuring women’s safety.
An important element of the project is the strengthening of community support, by organizing and facilitating support groups for women in rural and urban communities. These groups provide safe spaces for dialogue, solidarity and mutual support, contributing to reducing social isolation and strengthening community cohesion.
At the same time, the project supports the development of the organization’s team of specialists, by hiring and continuously training key personnel, including the psychologist, social worker and management team. This investment in human resources contributes to increasing the quality and sustainability of services provided to women affected by violence.
Through this organizational support grant, the organization strengthens its role as a provider of specialized services and an active actor in preventing and combating violence against women, contributing to the creation of safer and more supportive communities in Cahul district.
